Sunday March 22nd: With my son and brother riding his 1914 Douglas motorbike just passed through Crawley on the Sunbeam MCC Pioneer Run to Brighton.
Monday March 23rd: BBC interview this morning on rise in Crawley manufacturing. Vent-Axia have brought jobs back from China.
Tuesday March 24th: Honoured to present on behalf of Crawley people in the House of Commons a petition calling for English votes on English laws to re-balance the UK constitution with greater fairness.
Wednesday March 25th: Very grateful to get an endorsement from Queen guitarist Dr Brian May for my animal welfare work in Parliament. Later in Downing Street I present a petition to the Prime Minister on behalf of Crawley Chagos community calling for the resettlement of the islands.
Thursday March 26th: House of Commons: I welcomed the Government's Growth Deal which is investing £28 million in Crawley road and rail infrastructure. Only possible because of the UK's strongly recovering economy. The last time I have spoken (in this Parliament.)!
Friday March 27th: Crawley & Gatwick Chamber of Commerce breakfast election debate: Local firms large and small are expanding, exporting and contributing to record high employment levels thanks to business friendly policies and lower taxation of Conservatives in government. Then on to thanking staff at Manor Royal headquartered B&CE The Peoples Pension for collecting Easter eggs in aid of Chestnut Tree Children's Hospice via the Heart Surrey & Sussex radio appeal.
Saturday March 28th: Great to be at Crawley Rugby Football Club in the afternoon for the presentation of volunteer awards. Later I speak in Brighton at VegFest on the moral and environmental importance of animal welfare.
