Monday January 26th: Parliament: Welcoming this afternoon the 12% reduction in crime across Crawley and the Sussex Police force area over the last year.
Tuesday January 27th: Sign the book of remembrance in Westminster this Holocaust Memorial Day.
Wednesday January 28th: Speak to St Wilfrid's School students in the morning about the role of an MP and how our parliamentary democracy works. Then in the afternoon I have a briefing with the Chief Executive of Sussex Community NHS Trust in Parliament. Crawley Hospital is seeing more emergency services returning, increased bed numbers and is rated as one of the cleanest facilities in the country. Back to Crawley in the evening for a moving and inspiring Crawley Band of Brothers ceremony. Men mentoring men to break the negative cycle of former young offenders.
Thursday January 29th: Pleased to welcome Communities Under Secretary of State, Penny Mordaunt MP, to Gatwick this morning announcing a further £10 million upgrade investment for the Airport station.
Friday January 30th: Westminster: Welcoming UK growth at 2.6% last year, the strongest of any major economy.
Saturday January 31st: Speaking with neighbourhood residents concerned about the potential closure of Broadfield Barton Morrisons store. I've been in contact with the company head office requesting re-consideration and employee guarantees.
Sunday February 1st: Good to be at the Crawley Army Reserve Centre for the XIX Air Cadets dinner. Impressive group of young people.
