Henry Smith, MP for Crawley, has successfully lobbied HM Revenue and Customs to ensure that the free tax advice workshops for new entrepreneurs at Crawley Library will continue to run.
Henry said:
“I was approached by two residents recently about the free advice surgeries that are run for new entrepreneurs in Crawley Library. They informed me that they’d been told that the free workshops were set to be cancelled.
“I immediately contacted HM Revenue and Customs to request that they look into this matter and continue to run this workshop in our town. I explained that these seminars offered valuable and useful advice for many firms in Crawley and that having the right financial advice, at a time when the economy is still recovering, is more important than ever.
“I’m therefore delighted to hear that HMRC is set to continue to run these workshops in Crawley and that our local businesses will be able to continue to benefit from their advice.”
