Henry Smith, MP for Crawley, has successfully lobbied HM Revenue & Customs to ensure that the free tax advice workshops for new entrepreneurs and small firms at Crawley Library will continue to run.
Henry said:
“I was recently approached about concerns that the free advice shops that are run for new and small businesses in Crawley Library by the tax office might be closing.
“Small companies and new start-ups are vital parts of Crawley’s economy and need support, therefore I immediately contacted HM Revenue & Customs to request they continue to run this workshop in our town. I explained that these seminars offered valuable and useful advice for many firms in Crawley and that having the right financial advice, at a time when the economy is still recovering, is more important than ever.
“I am therefore delighted to hear that HMRC is set to continue to run these workshops in Crawley and that our local businesses will be able to continue to benefit from their advice.”
