Monday October 26th: Welcomed the 2nd Crawley St Peter’s Guides to London for a tour of the Palace of Westminster.
Alongside Sainsbury’s pleased to raise awareness of the dangers of candle flames around Halloween.
On the floor of the House I called for further action to combat unwelcome, nuisance telephone calls. This issue appear to be on this rise.
Tuesday October 27th: Delighted to meet with Friends of the Earth to discuss their project to cover the UK with bee-friendly wildflowers. It has been well publicised that the bee population is slowly dying out.
Wednesday October 28th: Spoke in the House of Commons stating my support that the UK Parliament’s second chamber, the House of Lords, should be a wholly elected body.
Reaffirmed my support for the Chagos Islanders' right to return to the British Indian Ocean Territory whilst speaking in a Westminster Hall debate.
Thursday October 29th: Alongside Frisbee (my Beagle), I was honoured to take part in the annual Westminster Dog of the Year Show. The event is held with The Dogs Trust and Kennel Club to help promote responsible dog ownership. Thanks for everyone that voted!
Friday October 30th: Attended the BBC Sunday Politics South East studios to discuss a variety of current regional issues.
Met with local community group, after returning from the TV Studios, to discuss the use of the Broadfield House site.
